Brandy Butler, recently celebrated her 35th Birthday with an arts meets performance soiree in an undisclosed Embassy Row Mansion, planned by The Smugger’s Theo Wilhite. Now the list shall remain confidential; however, it was a great representation of DC’s most influential movers and shakers wearing their finest panama straw hats and freakum dresses.
Brandy Butler is a name and person to watch for years to come. Ms. Butler has a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management from Temple University and she is an American Staffing Association Certified Staffing Professional (CSP). She is also a graduate of the Darden MBE Program at the University of Virginia and the Tuck MBE Program at the University of Dartmouth. Philanthropist by choice and CEO by profession, she continues to make super human strides professionally and in her local community. Brandy’s company Aspen of DC (http://aspenofdc.com), a professional services company currently servicing over 30 different federal agencies and offices with project management, HR, IT and other contracts, has committed its financial resources and relationships to bring art to children who live in underserved communities, like DC’s Ward 7 & 8. In the coming weeks, Brandy Butler will be recognized by her peers and local business leaders with the 2011 Brava Award for “Smart CEO”. A recognition that’ll profile her in Forbes Magazine as one DC’s top 25 women in business. Did I mention, she is only 35. Now in my personal opinion, she has Stacy Dash beauty blended with Oprah’s command of business. Hot!
