Forget playing the lottery, Instagram co-founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger just hit the mega billions. Yesterday, Forbes reported that social media powerhouse Facebook bought the free picture sharing company for a reported $1 Billion dollars.

Pharrell Williams is further expanding his reach outside of music with a new social media venture called “I Am Other”. The producer/ singer/ entrepreneur, who most recently was named as creative director of Karma Loop TV, has partnered with United Entertainment Group to launch a “content-driven property that spotlights new musicians, filmmakers, designers, artists and innovators through online, mobile and retail channels, TV shows and films.”
